He was predeceased by: his father Wayne; and his father-in-law Don. He is survived by: his wife Pam; his children, Heather and Josh; his grandchildren, Avery, Silas and Esme; his mother Rita; and his brothers, Barry, Ed, Dennis and Tim.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Wildlife Foundation of Virginia.
