She is survived by: her siblings, John Sowers (Jane) and Deborah Lucas (Willie); her children, Donnie R. Adkins (Brenda), Ronnie D. Adkins, Michael S. Adkins, Kenneth L. Adkins and Melissa A. Adkins; and her close friend Walter Martin. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
