She was predeceased by: her siblings, Clarence Thurston, Sr., Lillie Mae Berkeley and Mildred Harris; her nephew Calvin Harris; and her brothers-in-law, Hugh Berkeley, Jordan Osco Shelton and Frank Harris, Sr..
She is survived by: her son Clarence Shelton, Jr.; her grandchildren, Brandon Shelton and Rychelle Johnson; her great grandchildren, Katyiah, Brenden and Tamia; her siblings, Samuel Thurston (Roberta), Paul Thurston and Clarisa Shelton; her siblings-in-law, Frank Shelton, Jr., Leroy Shelton, Gussie Thurston and Lucille Pryor; and also Darrell Thurston. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
