He was predeceased by: his parents, Kelly E. Smith and Catherine Smith; and his brother Timmy. He is survived by: his wife Jenny; his children, Jeff Smith (Lisa) of Winchester, Shelly Whetzel (Kenny) of Middletown, VA and Betsy Oxendine (Brian) of Lake Anna; his sisters, Catherine D. Ramos of Falls Church, Wendy Long of Abingdon, VA and Rebecca Fesperman (Brian) of Culpeper; his grandchildren, Corey, Kristen, Brad, Virginia, Lily, Nick and Aiden; and his great grandchildren, Ali, Johnny, Julie, Benton, Hunter and Emmett.
