He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bernard Cox, Sr and Gladys Ganzert Cox. He is survived by: his wife Hazel O'Brien Cox; his sons, David W Cox (Karen), Paul G Cox and Thomas S Cox (Elizabeth); and his grandchildren, Sara, Kaitlin, Peter, Jessica, Hannah and Matthew. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
