He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Stanley Payne (Matt); his significant other Melissa Short Cranor; his pet Buddy Loco; his mother Berta Stanley Proffitt (Bill); his siblings, David (Julia), Tim, Mark (Mary) and Vicky Stanley Beckley (Robert); and his pet Cleatus. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, in-laws.
