She was predeceased by: her husband Russell; her son Robert; her parents, Pauline and Roy; and her siblings, Lois Boyd, Esther Smith, Margie Denton, Clyde Denton and William Denton.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Julia Barton. She is also survived by two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 1503 Michaels Road, Henrico, VA 23229, or Mineral United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 276, Mineral, VA 23117.
