He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Jinx Kennon and Hazel Dulin Kennon; his wife Dorothy Jean Davis Kennon; and his sister Doris Kennon Chewning. He is survived by: his children, Susan Kennon Burnett (Mark Eheart) and Gordon Kennon (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Morgan Feldman Sisk (Tucker), Collin Burnett, Dorothy Kennon, Kennon Burnett and Everette Kennon; his great grandchild Layton Sisk; his siblings-in-law, Willard Chewning and Frances Davis Herndon; his nephews, Ernly Chewning (Wendy) and Neal Chewning (Shari); his niece Beth Herndon Kent (Kenny); and his friend Thomas Chewning.
