He was predeceased by: his parents, Jennings Perry "J. P." McCutcheon and Esta Mae McCutcheon (O'Dell) of Millwood; and his sister Ethelene Watson. He is survived by: his wife Lula Belle "Cindy" McCutcheon; his children, Kelly Shambley (Jay) of Apex and Jennings Perry (Rhonda) of Evans; his grandchildren, Seth Shambley (Bianca), Darby Warneke (Lee), Erica Roach (Jake) and Olivia McCutcheon; his great grandchildren, Kensington, Lochlan, Bridger, Navy Warneke, Justice "Jay" and Scout Shambley; and his siblings, Carol Simms of Cleveland and Jack McCutcheon (Kara) of Millwood.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ripley Tabernacle Baptist Church (330 3rd Ave, Ripley, WV 25271). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
