He was predeceased by: his parents, Mason McKim Ransome and Mary Lottie Banks Ransome. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn McGuire Ransome; his children, Robin Patrice Ransome Overbey (Shawn W. Overbey) and Gregory Shea Ransome; and his grandchildren, AnaLeah Brooke Overbey and Shawn William Overbey, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and close family friends.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Essex High School (833 High School Cir, Tappahannock, VA 22560). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
