It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thelma Arlene Gilbert Brinkley (Millboro, Virginia), born in Rainelle, West Virginia, who passed away on March 11, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert C. Gilbert and Nellie Cochran Gilbert Suttle; her son Elton Brinkley; her grandson Julian Brinkley; and her son-in-law James Dudley.
She is survived by: her husband Edgar Alan Brinkley of Millboro; her children, Alan Brinkley (Vickie) of Millboro, Barbara Power (George) of Florida, Betty Dudley of Millboro Springs, Julian Brinkley of Millboro and James Brinkley of Millboro; her grandchildren, Dylan, Heather, Melissa, Leeland, Josh, Nigel, Megan, Chelsea, Julie, Afton, Zackary and Aimee; her brother Clarence Gilbert of Connecticut; and her daughter-in-law Deborah Brinkley of Millboro. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
