He is survived by: his sons, Reed Vess, Jr. (April) of Millboro and Derek Vess (Rebecca) of Millboro; his siblings, Olivia Gibson of Lexington, Lisa Vess of Lexington, Darrell Vess (Mary), Rodney Vess and Michael Vess; his grandchildren, Shania Vess, Susannah Vess, Shyanne "Farm Girl" Vess, Brantley Vess, Shaelynn Vess, Kayleigh Vess and Tayton Vess; and his great grandchild Lucas Vess. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
