It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Wilson Snipes of Midlothian, Virginia, who passed away on January 19, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter M. Snipes (Jake) and Eva Wilson Snipes; and his brother Walter Harold Snipes. He is survived by: his sons, Erik Snipes and Darren Snipes (Sheri) of Apple Valley; his sister Anne S. Owen of Chase City; and his nieces and nephews, Harold Edward Tharpe III, Nikki Michelle McGinley, Zoe Angela Cobb and Leonard Harold Snipes.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Matthias Church.
