He was predeceased by: his father Edward Davis; his father-in-law James Hamby; his niece Jennifer Slinker; his stepfather William Sydnor; and his brother-in-law Doug DeLoach.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Davis; his sons, James, Andrew and Brandon Davis; his mother Jean Davis; his siblings, Ned Davis, Kathy Pohlig (David), Sally Davis (Eric), Dan Davis (May) and Laura DeLoach; his mother-in-law Judy Hamby; his brother-in-law James "Jimbo" Hamby (Shelby); his close friend Jeff Sturtz; and his pet Harley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins; and his faithful companion.
