It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Elaine McKinney of Midlothian, Virginia, born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on April 17, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn H. Gaines and Warren D. Gaines; and her husband Donald E. "Buddy" McKinney. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Hamner (Hal) of Richmond, VA, Andy McKinney (Kirsten) of Richmond, VA, Donny McKinney of Richmond, VA and Molly Fanguy of Columbia, SC.; and her grandchildren, Emily Fanguy Howard (Sam), Chris Fanguy, Libbie Hamner and Alex McKinney.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Bon Secours Community Hospice House in recognition of their extraordinary care and compassion given to our mother.
