It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Earl Ricketts Sr. of Midlothian, Virginia, who passed away on January 20, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Minor Ricketts and Elva Gray Ricketts; his grandson Taylor Grow; and his brother Steven Gray Ricketts. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ricketts; his children, Cherie Holshouser, Pamela Lynn Hoke (John) and Ronald Earl Ricketts, Jr. (Julie); his stepdaughter Tracy Grow; his grandchildren, William Nowell (Briana), Michael Holshouser, Christopher Holshouser (Bethany Licciardi), David Hoke, Alex Grow (Kimberly Adkins), Alexa Hoke (Nicholas McCullaugh) and Sean Michael Grow; and the mother of his children Mary Davis Ricketts. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date as Covid restrictions are lifted.
