He was predeceased by: his parents, Raleigh Terry Hite and Marguerite O'Leary Hite; and his daughter Andrea. He is survived by: his wife Maryanna; his children, Barry Hite (Becky) of Midlothian and Valerie Weiner (Eric) of Williamsburg; and his grandchildren, Shelby, Isabella, Max and Jacob.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Stroke Association.
