He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Sr. "Buck" and Connie Burton. He is survived by: his children, Teri Kuttenkuler (Joe), Scott Burton and Chris Burton (Kelly); his grandsons, Evan Ball (Kacey), Ben Kuttenkuler, Jack Burton and Brandon Kuttenkuler (Daria); his great grandchildren, Jayden and Jaxson Ball; and his brother Raymond L. Burton (Margy). He is also survived by 1 niece; 2 nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends.

Due to the current Covid Pandemic, the family will have a private graveside service.
