We bid farewell to Mary Louise Monahan of Midlothian, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 25, 2024 at the age of 83. Mary Louise touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Young Thurman and Mary Magdalene Thurman (Gilley); and her sisters, Janice and Margaret. She is survived by: her husband Anthony John Monahan of Valentine's Day; her children, Elizabeth Foster, Janice Cornell and John Monahan; her son-in-law Dan Cornell; her grandchildren, Mary Elise Marshall, Ryan True, Caitlyn Monahan and Damon Foster; and her pet Rusty.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Good News Free Will Baptist Church (5200 Courthouse Rd, Chesterfield, VA 23832). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory may be made to Crater Community Hospice or Good News FWB Church.
