She was predeceased by: her parents, Algie L. Bell and Virginia L. Bell; her sister Doris Menefee; and her grandson Dominic Antoine Thompson. She is survived by: her son Darren L. Tutt Sr.; her daughter-in-law Linette T. Tutt; her siblings, Algie L. Bell Jr., Jerry L. Bell, Gwendolyn Long, Claudia Cochran and Linda M. Bell; her grandchildren, Dorian Dunlap, Amyra Barnes, Ke'Shaun Mosley, Darren L. Tutt Jr. and Daya L. Tutt; and her great grandchild Messiah Wright. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
