She was predeceased by: her parents, Anderson Benns and Helen Jean Daniels Benns. She is survived by: her children, Robin Locke, Adriane Mitchell, Darrin Nolton and Joy Booker (New York); and her sister Francesca Ferguson of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
