He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Courtney W. Gonzalez (Lenin) of Midlothian and James Wheeler of New York City; his grandson Aidin Gonzalez; his sister Betty Barnes (Ricky) of Bracey; his half-sister Treva Coffel (Mike) of Alabama; and his nieces and nephews, Lauren Barnes of Richard and Michael Barnes.
