With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judy Smith Portner of Midlothian, Virginia, born in Eden, North Carolina, who passed away on August 7, 2021 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Bell Smith and William "Bill" E. Smith; her husband David Portner; her daughters, Ashley Portner (Nathaniel Holzer) and Rebecca Portner; her siblings, Larry Smith (Jo Anne), Mark Smith (Lita), Wayne Smith, Cynthia Smith (Tony London), Shirley Price (Gary), Janet Nunn (Jim), Nancy Bartlett (Rex), Billie Jean Snuggs (Lee), Rosemary Sams (Doug) and Joseph Scott "Scotty" Smith; and her nephews, Marvin "Trey" Sams and Smith William Snuggs. She was also cherished by 15 nieces and nephews, and 13 great nieces and nephews.
