He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Parks and Nannie Shockley Parks. He is survived by: his spouse Susan Gregory Parks; his child John Leslie Parks, Jr.; his wife Cherie of Charlottesville, VA; his brother Dan R. Parks (Ann) of Charlottesville; his grandchildren, Scott Kellam (Nikki) of Powhatan, VA, Gregory Kellam, Mallory McKenzie of Powhatan, Todd Kellam (Chloe) of Richmond, Justin Parks of Arlington, VA, Jordan Parks of Charlottesville, Kevin Silverman of New York City, NY, Jeremy Silverman and Allison Silverman Paul (Brian) of New York City; his great grandchildren, Parker Kellam of Powhatan and Jase Kellam of Powhatan; and also, Patricia Parks Kellam (Eddie) and Anne Marie Silverman (Jon).
