He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hubert Caruthers and Annie Frances Hardison Caruthers; and his brother Roy Eugene Caruthers. He is survived by: his wife Linda Tsironis Caruthers; his sisters, Marilyn Pinkleton and Libby Parnell; his daughters, Cindy Caruthers Beasley (Richard) and Jill Caruthers Moles (Stephen); his stepdaughters, Athena "Tina" Tsironis Long and Anna Tsironis Melis (Johnny); his stepgrandchildren, Zoe A. Long, Sophia A. Long, Katina E. Melis and Yianni C. Melis; his grandsons, Houston Beasley (Bailey), Garrett Beasley (Leigh), Heath Beasley (Megan), Carter Moles (Caitlan) and Hardison Moles; and his great grandchildren, Mary Caroline, Betsy, Catherine, Helen, Beck, Sarah, Max Beasley and Camryn Moles.
