She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cooper and Lucy Cooper; her siblings, J. C., James, Charles Cooper and Mary Alice Newton; and her son-in-law Michael Brandon Walker, Sr..
She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Paige Silcox Walker; her grandchildren, Alexis Leah Walker and Michael Brandon Walker, Jr.; her brothers, William A. and Samuel W. Cooper; and her pet Beau. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
