With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria Jean Averette of Midlothian, Virginia, born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on February 7, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lacy Elmer and Sarah Olivia Hailey; her husband Bill Bailey; her siblings, Mildred Cooke and James Hailey; and her husband Bobby Averette.
She is survived by: her children, Lena Annette Harvey (Kenny) and Richard Glenn Bailey (Carol); her grandchildren, Jonathan Bailey (Jessica), Kevin Harvey (Kelsey), Nicholas Harvey, Andrew Zodun (Bonnie), Ashley Cole (Shawn), DeAnna Bailey (Dillion) and Stephanie Gregory (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Jake Bailey, Jack Bailey, Shane Zodun, Alex Zodun, Landon Finn, Daniel Cole, Kayla Jean Bailey, Kelsey Cole, Kayla Cole and Breanna Cole; and her brother Lacy Hailey, Jr..
