She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Jefferson, Sr.; her daughter Patricia Jefferson; her parents, Henry Burford and Mabel Burford; her siblings, Geneva Ross, Blanche Smith, Pauline Bonaparte, James Burford, Sr., Floyd Burford, Douglas Burford and Charles Burford; her close friend Nancy Moody; her stepson Welford Jefferson; and the father of her children James Draper, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, James Jr. (Tresa), Irving (Sandra), Wayne Draper and Jacqueline "Jackie" Draper; her sisters, Ann Scott and Elizabeth Reynolds; and her stepsons, Edward Jr. and Alphonso Jefferson (Nancy). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A viewing for family and friends will be held from 5 to 7 p. m. Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd. Guests are limited to 10 people in the viewing room at a time and masks and social distancing are required.
