She was predeceased by: her daughter Sheila Lemite; her siblings, Deleon Bostic Jr. and Reba Miller; and her parents, Sarah Bostic and Deleon Bostic Sr..

She is survived by: her husband Claude Lemite; her sons, Claude Lemite Jr. and Gregory Lemite M. D.; her daughter-in-law Dr. Kimberly Lemite; her grandchildren, Danielle Lemite and Jordan Lemite; her nephews, William Miller and Earl Miller; and her niece Patricia Jeffries.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA.
