Ernest Mendel Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Mendel in Midlothian, Virginia, who passed away on December 22, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Mendel and Flora Vogel Mendel; his brother Werner Mendel; and his grandson Robert Mendel. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Amoroso Carroll Mendel; his children, Stephanie Hayano (Carl Kenji), Phyllis Mendel (Jan), John Mendel (Emma) and Eugene Carroll (Allison); his grandsons, Thomas Mendel and Maxwell Carroll; and his great grandchild Willow Rae Mendel.

Due to the constraints of COVID-19, a graveside service in Richmond, VA, will be limited to immediate family only.
