He is survived by: his wife Catherine Nauman Cheddar; his daughter Kathryn Hohman-Billmeier (Caleb); his grandchildren, Ada and Willem; and his brothers, Charles Cheddar (Jacqueline) and Michael Cheddar.

A memorial service will be conducted 3 p.m. Thursday, November 29, at Tomahawk Baptist Church, 12920 Hull St. Rd. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Richmond Animal Care & Control, http://www.raccfoundation.org.
