She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean Burton and Edith Burton (Trevvett); her husband James H Brightly; and her son Burton L "Larry" Brightly. She is survived by: her sons, James H Brightly, Jr. (Lynda Brightly) of Chesterfield, VA, John K Brightly (Teresa Brightly) of Chesterfield, VA and Joseph W Brightly of Chesterfield, VA; and her brother William "Bill" Burton of Montgomery Alabama. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
