He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Pontius and Kathryn Pontius; and his brothers, John Pontius and Bill Pontius. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Scott Campbell Pontius (Angella), Carrie Elizabeth Setina (Sean) and Anne Kathryn Fierbaugh (Cody); his grandchildren, Ethan, Collin, Nora Pontius, Scarlet, Ellie Setina, Holland and Cooper Fierbaugh; his brothers, Harry (Beverly) of Burke, VA, Robert (Carol) of Cincinnati and Patrick (Lyn) of Midlothian; and his sisters-in-law, Jane Pontius of Rockville and Judy Pontius of Ijamsville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date due to the restrictions regarding the Corona virus.
