He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond A. Adams, MD and Jane Beery Adams, MD. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Hutson Adams; his children, John Michael Powers (Teresa Pendleton Powers) and Angela Powers Morrell; his granddaughter Grace Elizabeth Morrell; and his brother Kenneth A. Adams, MD (Catherine G. Adams).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charles' honor to The Doorways and the Kiwanis Foundation, organizations that reflect his lifelong commitment to community and service.
