She was predeceased by: her mother Ruth Arrington; her grandparents, Pop and Bessie Lott; and her daughter Allison Renee Poston. She is survived by: her husband Anthony D. Poston; her children, Allen D. Poston and Leslie S. Sullivan; and her grandchildren, McKenzie B. Poston, Anthony Cole Poston, Bandit and Toby.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest making donations in her name to RAL (Richmond Animal League).
