He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Zacchetti and George Zacchetti; and his brothers, David, George and Tom Zacchetti.

He is survived by: his siblings, Darlene Snyder, Kathleen Vivirito, Mary Poerstel (Jack), Dennis Zacchetti (Anne), Suzanne Dixon, Jim Zacchetti (Kitty), Gerard Zacchetti, Timothy Zacchetti (Darlene) and Geralyn Zacchetti. He is also survived by 35 nieces and nephews; 61 great-nieces and great-nephews; 10 great-great-nices and great-great-nephews; multiple cousins.
