She was predeceased by: her father Barney Grimm; and her husband Carl Green Yates. She is survived by: her son Marcus Yates; her siblings, Pamela Williams, Sheila Jones and Anthony Grimm; and her grandchildren, Carley, Jaliya, Layla and Jaylen. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
