He was predeceased by: his father James Allen Suggs, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Carrie Faye Hedgepeth Suggs of Raleigh, NC; his wife Rebecca Yvonna "Becky" Walton Suggs of Covington; his children, Hannah L. Shoemake, Zachary A. Suggs of Covington and Wayne K. "Punky" Cline of Covington; his siblings, Susan Shearman of Wendell, NC and Alan Suggs (Lisa) of Wendell, NC; and his niece Gwen Shearman of Washington, D. C.
