She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ernest Messick and Salome Andes Messick; and her husband William Hern Byron. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Byron Keyser (Ray) and Elizabeth Byron DeTullio (Joe); her grandchildren, Melinda Beth Soucy (Josh), William Byron Keyser (Roxanne), Kyle Joseph DeTullio (Chelsea) and Keri DeTullio Royals (Matt); and her sister Mildred Messick Cooke. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
