It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phoebe Jones Patton of Midland, Virginia, born in Casanova, Virginia, who passed away on May 2, 2022, at the age of 107, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Watt Coak Jones; her siblings, Samuel Jones, John Coak Jones, Robert Lee Jones and Ada Jones; and her husband Allie Woodrow Patton.
She is survived by: her children, Robert R. Patton (Kay C. Patton), Ann Patton Garmon (Stephen E. Garmon), Mary Allen Lomax (Clyde M. Lomax), William C Patton (Jacqueline E. Patton), Sally Patton Baffa (John H. Baffa) and Eleanor Patton Goodwin (John L. Goodwin). She is also survived by ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great-great grandson as well as nieces and nephews.
Even after the pandemic limited her opportunities to get out, she remained faithful to her church and often watched services from home.
