It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Hudgins of Middletown, Virginia, born in Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on December 3, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Maurie Jo Hudgins, Sr.; and his brother Thad Hudgins. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Renner Hudgins; his siblings, Bobbie Jo Stanfield (Bobby), Sherry Murphy (Bill), Leanne Routten (Terry Bridges), Robert "Bubba" Hudgins, Scott Hudgins and Johnny Durkot; and his stepchildren, Lisa Rickman (Timmy), Dianne Arbogast (Scott), Jeffrey Palmer (Alicia) and Steven Palmer. He is also survived by seven step-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to the Middletown Vol.
