It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip Funk Sr. (Middletown, Virginia), who passed away on December 20, 2018, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Marcellus Edward Funk; his wife Dorothy Louise Dinges Funk; his daughter Marilynn; his great great grandchild Trinity; and his brother Kenneth Funk (Margaret).
He is survived by: his parent Mary D. Funk; his children, Philip Edward Funk, Jr. and Juanita Tewalt (Eugene); and his significant other Louise Link of Capon Bridge, WV. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
