He was predeceased by: his mother Laura M. Watson; and his stepfathers, Joseph Albert Mitchell, Sr. and Joshua N. Watson. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Moats; his children, Michelle (Jeff), Lisa Kerns (JR) and Michael Kerns (Tonya); his grandchildren, Aaron Kerns, Alexis, Hunter Bailey and Kaylee Clark; and his brothers, Joseph Mitchell and Robert Racey.
