With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julius Watzich (Middleburg, Virginia), who passed away on September 16, 2018 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
At the age of 89, Jules starred in a locally filmed and produced horror movie 'Maxwell Stein", released in 2009. As a member of the Middleburg Players, he played roles in "Oliver", "Guys and Dolls", "Three Men on a Horse", "Working", "Fiddler on the Roof" and "Our Town". Jules was the beloved husband for more than 60 years to his wife Shirley who died September 26, 2015. He had a sister Ruth and is the loving and devoted father of Chris; Dianne, spouse Michael; Wendy, spouse Darryl; Brock, spouse Paula. And the very proud grandfather of Lauren and Kyle Watzich. A celebration service of Jules life will be held Saturday, 2:00 pm, October 6, 2018 at The Church of the Redeemer, Aldie Va; reception immediately following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Church or the local chapter of disabled veterans. All are welcome to an open house at Jules after the reception.
