She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Grant Beard and Betty Meadows Beard; and her brother Roy Wayne Beard (Frances Jacks Beard). She is survived by: her nieces, Sherry Jenkins, Patsy Thomas and Ann Marie Wright of Bryson City, NC; and her cousins, Edwina Grant, Max Grant, Martha Grant Hamlin, Robert Grant, Catherine Grant Greene of Mills River, NC and Trever Wright of Chattanooga, TN.
