He was predeceased by: his spouse Susan Gee Williams Blake; and his parent Ellis Cracroft Blake. He is survived by: his parent Ethel Virginia Conner Blake; and his children, Jody Hughes (Curt) of Holbrook, PA, Lawrence "Buddy" Nalls, Jr. of Melfa and Deborah Clayton (Raymond) of Princess Anne, MD. He is also survived by his sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
