In loving memory of Carlisle Jones of Melfa, Virginia, who departed this world on March 22, 2025 at the age of 72. Carlisle leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Clifford Jones and Margie Christine Jones; his siblings, Pauline Bennett, Clifford Jones, Shirley Hart, Judy Jones, Harland Jones and Henry Jones; and his sister-in-law Julia Shelton Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jones; his children, Carlisle W. Jones Jr., Hope of Melfa, Jennifer Farlow Spahn of Melfa and Jeffrey Todd Farlow of Belle Haven; his grandchildren, Carlisle W. Jones III, Julia Brooke, Leighann Linton, Hannah Grace Fuller and Anakin Todd Farlow; and his siblings, Florence Linton and Gene Paige "Dinky" Jones. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Doughty Funeral Home (3117 Main St, Exmore, VA 23350). A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Belle Haven Cemetery.
