He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Marvin Barnes and Betty Lou Hall; and his brother Jeremy Barnes. He is survived by: his wife April Thompson Barnes; his siblings, Melinda Byrd (Carlton III) of Knoxville, TN, Christina Green of Onancock, VA and Frederick Barnes, Jr. of Exmore; his nieces and nephews, Carlton Byrd IV, Shelby Vigh, Courtney Green, John Green and Rodney Taylor; his great-niece Hailie Wilson; his stepmother Brenda Barnes; and his stepsister Barilee Kruszewski.
