She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Lee "Joey" Parks; her parents, Everett Noah Adkins and Edna Louise Adkins; and her daughter Deborah Ann Parks. She is survived by: her children, Dawny Parks Clark (Kevin) of Onancock, VA and Jason Parks (Tonya) of Melfa, VA; her siblings, Nancy Childers of Parksley, VA, Sharon Pruitt of Northside Chesconessex, VA and Brooks Pruitt; her grandchildren, Caleb, Fabiola Clark, Adrian Clark (Brittany), Ashley, Chris Jester, Austin Parks (Samantha) and Hannah Parks; and her great grandchildren, Wayne Alan Hodgson III, Lee, Mia, Aaliyah Parks and Millie Jester. She is also survived by five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Exmore Baptist Church (11624 Occohannock Neck Rd, Exmore, VA 23350).
