Barbara Annie Tilghman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Annie Tilghman of Melfa, Virginia, who passed away on May 14, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Lawrence H. Stevens; her husbands, Daniel Edward "Speck" Couch and Edwin K. "Ed" Tilghman; her brothers, Roland, Hyden, Johnny and James "Jim" Stevens; and her son-in-law Fred Wolf Crockett.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara A. Crockett of Melfa, Shirley M. Taylor of Exmore, VA and Elton W. Taylor; her brother Lawrence "Sonny" Stevens Jr. (Etta) of Townsend, VA; her grandchildren, Texena Crockett (Ryan), Jenny Taylor (Jason), Brian Bradford and Malista Ness; and her son-in-law Carrroll R. Bishop. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and her beloved pups, "Nana".
